I recently moved from the Pacific Northwest, and relocated to the Phoenix area to live during the winter months.

My subject matter has been mostly landscape and still life. The Pacific Northwest and the desert Southwest have been my main sources of inspiration.

My Background

I have a B.A. in art from Western Washington University and have been an Art Instructor for 30 years in Washington state. Over the years I have exhibited in museums and galleries in the Pacific Northwest. Some of the more notable exhibits are Seattle Art Museum-Northwest Watercolor Annual; Fry Art Museum-Seattle Puget Sound Exhibition; Olympic Arts Festival; Western Washington State Fair; Washington Sate Artmobile; Kent Arts Festival; Kittridge Art Gallery-Tacoma, Washington; and other various art galleries in Seattle, Tacoma, Bellingham, Bremerton, Spokane, Bellevue and Kirkland, all in Washington state.

I have also had my work in galleries in Cannon Beach and Lincoln City in Oregon, as well as galleries in Boise, Idaho. My painitngs are in many private collections throughout the United States. I have recently been exhibiting my work in the Phoenix, Scottsdale, Litchfield Park, Peoria and Surprise, Arizona areas, as well as in Tubac, which is south of Tucson, Arizona.

I have two studio homes, one in the Pacific Northwest, in Washington state, where I spend the summer months, and the other in the Southwest, in Arizona.
